The first of three homes in the new 56 Palms subdivision has been sold for $1,784,200. The home was sold by Michael Messenger of Geoffrey H. Edmunds Realty and purchased by Lisa Knowles of West USA Realty. 56 Palms is a subdivision located on the Southeast corner of 56th Street and Camelback. TDLC Development of Scottsdale purchased the 2+ acre lot in 2011 and parceled it into 3 homesites. TDLC built this home first and left the other two lots vacant. The lots have been listed for sale at $950,00 with no takers thus far. Now that their first home has sold, TDLC will move onto the next lot for build out.
The home that sold backs to Camelback Rd which was a tough sell, but they did a great job on the home itself. The home had a classic Arcadia exterior with brick, shake roof, and a front porch fireplace. The interior was finished in a fairly traditional manner as well with a little contemporary flair. See the pictures of this beautiful property below.
I wasn’t a fan of the new subdivison because of the location and awkward color choices for the exterior walls. After seeing the end product of this home, I can tell you that I’m now sold on the project. I’m anxiously awaiting the next two homes that they build out.
